You don’t get a second chance to make a first impression (so ‘they’ say) …… rather daunting words when one is staring at a blank screen and looking to make a good first impression.
Just today, I asked two colleagues to move out of their comfort zone and take a leadership stance for our organization. I asked them to approach one of our ‘customers’, ask a few questions, find out something about that person, start to develop a relationship…… So here I am, my hand is extended and I’d like to say ‘hello’. I hope we’ll share some common interests: engaging learners – young and experienced, the evolving world of healthcare simulation and what type of leaders do we need to make the world a better place? That’s where I plan to start and I look forward to sharing what I learn and building our relationship(s).
